The Rook Tactical Vehicle

From Scannerfood

Virginia State Police Highlights fleet of “The Rook” tactical armored vehicles.

The tracked skid steers feature armor to allow close insertion of tactical dismounted units in situations such as active shooters or armed /violent rioters, etc. Pictured unit has the tactical infantry shield attachment but can be configured based on the need.

Rook tactical units offer much more flexibility and accessibility than larger bearcat style trucks or up-fitted military gear like mraps that due to their weight and size see limited service except for the most contingent situations.

The units were used in familiarization training for current trooper trainees.

Touchless Tweeting

From TechDAD

A man with Elon Musk’s Neuralink brain chip made a groundbreaking achievement by posting a tweet on X (formerly Twitter) “just by thinking”. Noland Arbaugh, aged 29 and a quadriplegic, has become the first person to send a tweet using only his thoughts, thanks to Neuralink’s cybernetic implant.

In response to his tweet, Mr. Arbaugh humorously remarked, “Twitter banned me because they thought I was a bot, and @X and @elonmusk reinstated me because I am.”

Elon Musk also acknowledged Mr. Arbaugh’s milestone, hailing it as the “First ever post made just by thinking, using the Neuralink Telepathy device!”

Earlier, Neuralink Corp. live-streamed an update showcasing Mr. Arbaugh playing video games and online chess using his mind. During the stream, he demonstrated moving the cursor on a computer without any physical tools, explaining that he visualizes the cursor’s movement and it responds accordingly.

Reflecting on his journey, Mr. Arbaugh mentioned sustaining a spinal cord injury eight years ago and becoming quadriplegic in 2016 due to a diving accident. He expressed gratitude for regaining the ability to play games like Civilization VI for hours straight after the Neuralink procedure in January. However, he also acknowledged that there is still room for improvement to refine the technology.

Compact Nuclear Reactors

In a transformative development, Saskatchewan, Canada, plans to launch a groundbreaking microreactor named eVinci by 2029.

The $80 million CAD project, led by the Saskatchewan Research Council in collaboration with Westinghouse, aims to demonstrate the microreactor’s capabilities. The eVinci microreactor, costing $80 million CAD, has the unique ability to operate for eight years without water.

It is expected to contribute to reducing air pollution significantly, with each unit helping in the yearly reduction of up to 55,000 tons of air pollution, as claimed by Westinghouse. The eVinci microreactor is versatile, capable of generating five megawatts of electricity, producing over 13 megawatts of high-temperature heat, or operating in combined heat and power mode.

Westinghouse views this technology as groundbreaking, with portability making it suitable for remote and underserved locations.

The microreactor’s water-independent cooling system utilizes innovative “heat pipe technology,” eliminating the need for water to cool down the system, unlike traditional nuclear reactors. The project is hailed as a proof-of-concept and is poised to pave the way for future installations.

Tesla Cybertruck Spotted

The new Tesla Cybertruck is making waves with its crazy new design. They’ve been spotted around the country lately. This one is in Wichita Falls, Texas.

In fact, this message was posted by a friend of ours and we had to share it.

“The Return of Mad Max?”

We think our friend is very wise (we know he’s wise and highly intelligent) to be concerned about such potential liability. He may not be a rocket scientist, even better; he teaches the fighter pilots (and was one himself) that keep us all safe around the world.

Our question is, “Are the trucks indestructible, or do they have an invisible forcefield around them?”

We know they must have cameras all around the vehicle, since it is programmed to sense things around it.

Have you spotted one? Maybe you own one and would like to give us more information. Whatever the case may be, please leave a comment below!

AirTag Safety Alert!

If you’re worried that one of Apple’s trackers is following you without consent, try these tips.

When the AIRTAG launched in 2021, cybersecurity experts expressed concern that the tracking device would be exploited by stalkers.

Since it’s release; multiple women reported frightening encounters where AirTags were used as stalking devices that could be slipped in a purse or taped to a car. Police departments across the United States issued warnings about the potential criminal uses of AirTags.

Here is just one story from Ken and Kellie Johnson of Wichita Falls Texas who found an APPLE AirTag inside their vehicle without their knowledge. Luckily they found it before anything horrible happened, but this is something everyone needs to be aware of.

On Thursday, January 4th, 2024, I went to the Wichita Falls Municipal Airport to pick up my daughter and her boyfriend around 2pm. I pulled up to the front and they were there waiting so I didn’t park or leave my car unattended. I took them to eat at Branding Iron before heading home and parked between Branding Iron and Club Sip. We didn’t stop any other places or leave the car unattended at any other point.

That evening, I got a notification that there was an APPLE Airtag moving with me and that the owner of the APPLE Airtag could see its location. I had never seen that notification before so I, instinctively, swiped it away.

I realized, after the fact, what it had meant and told my daughter…she thought I was exaggerating because I have an andriod and she has an iPhone, so she felt it made more sense that SHE would get the notification… We discussed it casually over the next few days but essentially “let it go” and didn’t take it all that seriously.

Then on that Sunday, January 7th, 2024, my daughter and her boyfriend took my car and went to the movies, later that evening when she got home, she got the same notification that I previously disregarded.

(photo attached, showing our beloved Koda as her screensaver as proof that this is indeed OUR photo and not from any other posts!)

She opened the notification and then she, her boyfriend and my husband (Ken) went outside to “Play Sound” and attempt to locate the APPLE Airtag. Unfortunately, the notification DOES disappear or is no longer active after a period of time (a few days maybe). They weren’t able to find the APPLE Airtag that night therefore we had to wait for the next notification to pop up to try to locate it again.

My husband took my daughter and her boyfriend to the airport early in the morning of Tuesday, January 9th in my car and got the notification as well. It was definitely INSIDE the car and after several days (On Saturday January 13th) we FINALLY found the actual APPLE AIRTAG.

My first instinct was to deactivate it, which I did by pushing down on the silver top and twisting… then I called APPLE. Spoiler alert – they are incredibly unwilling to work with law enforcement to release any owner information. They stated that there is a lengthy process for law enforcement to go through and there HAS to be proof of an actual crime before they would be willing to work with them.

Having young daughters, this was EXTREMELY concerning and disappointing to learn about. I wasn’t expecting them to give ME information, but was hopeful that law enforcement could handle the situation.

I did contact Branding Iron to see if they had exterior cameras, they do NOT. I contacted Club Sip to see if they have exterior cameras towards the Branding Iron parking lot, they do NOT. I was hoping for proof “a crime was committed” to help any further investigations. (No I was not expecting to acquire the footage myself, but for the proper authorities to have proof of a crime as APPLE requested)

There IS some very encouraging news to come from our story though and that was when I reached out to WFPD. The dispatcher did mention that Apple AirTags ARE turned in a lot, and she urged me to come make a report, HOWEVER, we live in Archer County, so she also advised me to contact them as well. I contacted Archer County Sheriff’s Office to ask what THEY thought I should do about this APPLE AIRTAG and THAT dispatcher was thoroughly concerned as well and immediately sent officers to my house. I even begged her to have them wait until I dried my hair and put on some makeup and she informed me “absolutely NOT, that is not the way this works” LOL I was NOT prepared for them to be so “Johnny on the Spot”, but, I am very thankful for their dispatcher’s persistence, definitely gives me peace of mind!

The lovely and concerned officers looked over my car, talked to me for a very long time in depth about different scenarios and possibilities and asked the personal questions, I showed them where my husband found it and they DO currently have it in their possession. They were wonderful and so stinking quick to respond!

While they ARE going to investigate, the sad part is that whomever it is connected to will just say that it was lost or stolen, if they are ever even found. But, I am hopeful that our situation will bring public light to this VERY serious issue and give our LEO’s some experience in how to navigate these investigations so that they can quickly help those in immediate danger in the future.

*IF YOU ARE A STALKING VICTIM, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT, EVEN WHEN THE APPLE AIRTAGS ARE FOUND, THERE ARE NO CONSEQUENCES TO THE OWNER! APPLE IS NOT WILLING TO ASSIST LEO’s UNLESS AN ACTUAL CRIME OCCURS! I never realized that there was zero consequence for tracking a stranger, but everyone SHOULD know… Because the ones doing this definitely already know!

Extra Info:

  • There were PERSONAL LEO friends aware of the situation and giving advice, I didn’t just wait until we found it.
  • My car does not, nor has it ever had a lien on it, we bought it outright, so it is not from a lienholder.
  • My husband isn’t tracking me and playing it off…we have Life360, so he is openly aware of my very boring whereabouts.
  • I do NOT now, nor have I ever had a stalker (that I am aware of, guess he was really good if one ever existed)

Things we learned from this experience:

  1. “tagging” of cars is a REAL thing, even in our small town of Wichita Falls.
  2. APPLE does NOT care if their products are used to commit crimes and they are not at all concerned with public safety
  3. DO NOT ignore the random notifications you get on your phone, finding it immediately could save you (the notifications are sent hours after the interaction).
  4. Law Enforcement DOES take these things very seriously even when their hands are tied, and APPLE limits their authority (they are already well aware of this issue)
  5. The notifications DO time out so don’t put off your search for it.
  6. To deactivate one, push on the silver and twist and the top pops right off and the battery falls out. You can put it back together and it will no longer be tracked.

Without a device on hand, you must rely on visual and audible clues to find any hidden AirTags. The circular white disc is slightly larger than a quarter. As reported by The New York Times, Ashley Estrada discovered an AirTag lodged under her license plate, and her video documenting the incident was viewed over 20 million times on TikTok.

Apple’s handy trackers have been used to track people’s location against their consent, but there’s a way to find out if an AirTag is tracking you. Here’s what to do.

Chief Trolling Officer

By Tech Dad

Elon Musk, currently recognized as the world’s wealthiest individual with a net worth of $251.3 billion, has once again caught attention by updating his Twitter (formerly X) bio to “chief trolling officer” and changing his location to Trollheim.

This isn’t the first instance of Musk making headlines for bio changes. In 2022, after acquiring Twitter, he modified his bio to “chief twit” and later to “Twitter complaint hotline operator.” In January 2023, he changed it to “state-affiliated” and later to “state-affiliated media.”

Musk has been actively reshaping the identity of the microblogging platform, introducing an $8 monthly membership, incorporating gold and silver ticks, reinstating controversial accounts, adjusting content moderation, and making various other modifications.

The bio update on January 9 has garnered significant attention, accumulating 26 million views, 88K likes, and 1.2K comments.

Apple’s NameDrop Causes Concern

Police departments and Facebook pages of all kinds are currently sharing a warning that we do feel iPhone users should be concerned with.

The feature is called NameDrop and it makes contact sharing a little too easy.

A Bluetooth connection between the two devices prompts NameDrop – and eliminates the need to type in their details manually, saving time.

This excerpt is from Jonathan Chadwick. Read the full article here

NameDrop – which also works between an iPhone and an Apple Watch – is part of Apple’s new iOS 17 software update, which was announced at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) this week.

However, iOS 17 won’t be released until autumn to coincide with the tech giant’s next smartphone, the iPhone 15

Apple has released a short animation showing how the NameDrop feature works between two iPhone users, which is a bit like swapping business cards.

Once the two devices come together and the Bluetooth connection is established, each phone brings up their ‘contact poster’ – a display showing a photo of their own face, their name and their phone number.

Users have the option to click ‘Share’ in order to share their contact poster (and in turn their personal details) with the other person, or ‘Receive Only’ if they only want to receive the other’s contact poster.

However, it just works between two Apple devices, meaning you’ll still have to trade numbers the old fashioned way if you or the other person has an Android phone.

From Sidney Police Department

Sidney residents, the Sidney Police Department has been made aware of a important privacy concern that we would like to pass on to our community.

If you have an iPhone and have done the recent iOS 17 update, they’ve installed a feature called NameDrop. This feature allows you to easily share contact information and photos to another iPhone by just holding the phones close together. This feature is defaulted to ‘ON’. To shut this feature off, go to Settings, General, AirDrop, Bringing Devices Together and change to ‘OFF’.

PARENTS: Don’t forget to change these settings on your child’s phone to help keep them safe as well!

Healthy Living; EMF Poisoning

Dangers of Electromagnetic Frequency

by Andi Hale

EMF Poisoning Healthy Living Podcast

We are surrounded by EMFs these days. The radiation is everywhere – in our computers, in our homes, in our cell phones, and in towers in our neighborhoods. EMF has certainly been linked to many negative health effects: headaches, cancer, fertility problems and neurological damage.

But Big Tech is changing their definitions to make it sound more appealing. Big Tech started calling EMF radiation “EM energy.” Feeling energized yet? Then they switched to “EM waves.” Feeling soothed yet? I call a spade a spade, a tumor a tumor, and an unsafe product an unsafe product.

The brain is particularly vulnerable to EMF radiation. With the gut being called the “second brain” and with thousands of bacteria in the gut, why would we not investigate a causal link between EMF and gut health?

Do You Have A Bad Gut Feeling?

Many people with gut imbalances suffer constant fatigue and sleep disturbances, creating a vicious cycle. Disturbances to the body’s natural circadian rhythm (sleep-wake cycle) can disrupt a healthy gut biome. A disturbed microbiome disrupts the body’s production of serotonin which can prevent quality sleep. A lack of sleep leads to bad gut health, and bad gut health leads to poor sleep. The two go hand in hand.

While more research is needed, the research findings to date suggest that EMF radiation likely disrupts bacteria in general, and when that happens, the balance or homeostasis in the gut is disrupted. This research could have far-reaching implications for human health because EMF load could be a hidden factor in many illnesses. Keep your gut healthy. There are many ways to nourish a healthy gut and maximize your microbiome. Limit or remove processed food and sugar, and inflammatory foods; such as gluten, soy, dairy, yeast and certain grains.

Certainly try to limit your exposure to EMF radiation. How many times have you been laying n the couch with your cell phone on your stomach? Remove electronics like laptops, tablets and phones from the bedroom. Since you spend one third of every day sleeping, removing bedroom electronics that constantly emit harmful radiation can be helpful. Even when these devices are not in use, they constantly emit harmful radiation. Use radiation shields or covers when you are using electronic devices.

Keep your gut healthy. It’s the only one you’ve got!

EMF exposure can cause inflamation. What about EMF and your Ear Buds?

ELECTROMAGNETIC HYPERSENSITIVITY

Is overexposure to electronics making you sick?

Electromagnetic hypersensitivity, often known as EHS, is a disorder that may cause a wide range of symptoms, some of the most common of which include headaches, inability to sleep, and nausea. EHS is often characterized by a fast onset of symptoms after exposure to certain environmental materials, and it is thought that EHS is the consequence of a mix of genetic and environmental variables.

Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity symptoms include:

  • Burning sensations in the face or other parts of the body
  • A tingling or prickling sensation across the face or other parts of the body
  • Rashes
  • A swelling of the mucous membranes such as nose, throat, ears, and sinuses without any infectious cause
  • Brain fog, and problems with concentration, loss of memory and dizziness
  • Aches and pains in muscles and joints
  • Insomnia
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Headaches and nausea
  • Teeth and jaw pains
  • Heart palpitations, irregular heartbeats

There has been a lot of discussion over what causes electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS), but the most prevalent theory is that the response to electromagnetic radiation is brought on by a mutation in the cells. On the other hand, this concept has been called into question by a number of other researchers, who believe that it may be the consequence of a neurological disorder, a sensitivity to chemicals, or both.

Symptoms of Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity can be brought on by a trigger event, such as the construction of a new mobile phone tower in the area. Or, it can be due to ongoing exposure to electromagnetic frequencies from new devices, such as computers, electric cars, TVs or wireless modems.

Common sources include:

  • Household appliances
  • Mobile phones
  • Computers
  • WiFi
  • Microwave ovens
  • Electricity
  • Mobile phone towers
  • Televisions
  • Power lines
  • Electric cars

Have you given any thought to the EMF and these new fangled electric cars?

Effects of Unregulated Digital Transformation : Wireless Technology

When it comes to human health, one of the most harmful and worrisome aspects of an unregulated digital transformation is the steady increase of blanket radiation emitted by billions of wireless technological devices. With plans for ever more wireless end products connected to the Internet of Things (including TVs, coffee machines or even saucepans, children’s toys and diapers) and plans for the installation of millions of new 5G small cell towers in residential areas, radiation and electrosmog will increase to unprecedented levels.

The term electrosmog describes the totality of the electric fields, magnetic fields, and electromagnetic radiation that is present 24/7 from all electrical and electronic devices, electric wires, power lines, and wireless devices and antennas. With wired communication, information is transmitted via the wires, and the electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and radiation are unintentional. Proper engineering can reduce unwanted fields and radiation to a minimum.

By contrast, with wireless communication, the radiation is the product. Radiation substitutes for wires in transmitting information. Wireless means radiation. Mobile devices operate in the microwave spectrum (a harmful spectrum as opposed to the EMFs with healing properties), with the result that the entire planet is now subjected to microwave radiation that is millions to billions of times stronger than the radiation from the sun and stars with which life evolved.

The damage done to our health and our world by the ever-increasing number of wireless devices and their infrastructure is caused not only by the microwave carrier frequencies, but also by the low-frequency modulation and pulsations that carry the transmitted information.

This knowledge has been obscured by the subversion of scientific organizations and regulating agencies through industry and other stakeholders. The scientific debate itself has been artificially paralyzed with two teams of scientists presenting opposing conclusions. The side that insists that the radiation emitted from wireless technology is safe is closely linked to industry; the other group that explains that this technology is harmful consists mostly of industry-independent scientists. Government agencies compromised by industry, national interests and the economic growth hype—as well as supranational entities such as the WHO or WEF tow the industry line.

Therefore, the radiation-based wireless infrastructure should not be expanded.

The wireless industry has faced effective opposition by local communities that seek to contain the industry’s blanket radiation. A variety of places—including suburbs Silicon Valley’s IT moguls themselves call home—and cities such as Brussels or Geneva have successfully blocked the installation of the industry’s newest product—5G—due to extensive health concerns.

While some technological innovations might benefit societies, others don’t. Societies do not have to and should not implement everything that is technologically feasible, especially when negative effects are significant. The decision whether a technology is used in a certain area or not should not be left to the industry that profits from it or the federal agencies it has corrupted but should be taken by local communities themselves as well as their most immediate and accessible political representatives.

At the same time, it needs to be ensured that technologies that are being used do not contribute to human exploitation, destruction of ecosystems and authoritarian designs.

So how can we combat the electrosmog that is polluting our lives?

Top 14 Supplements to Counter 5G Radiation ☢️

Superfoods and fresh juice intake can accomplish this, but beyond that, it’s also important to have an arsenal of nutritional tools that can more specifically target the harmful effects of radiation when particularly heavy contact with it has been or is expected to be made.  This is a list of the most powerful radiation detoxification and defense sources based primarily off the research of nutrition expert David Wolfe.  While there may be other foods, herbs, and remedies that help as well, these seem to be the most impactful.

  1. Iodine
  2. Chlorella
  3. Full-Spectrum Sea Salt
  4. Medicinal Mushrooms
  5. Bentonite Clay
  6. Zeolites
  7. Boron
  8. Ginseng
  9. Aloe Vera
  10. Fulvic Acid
  11. MegaHydrate/Crystal Energy
  12. Asparagus Root
  13. Astragalus
  14. Selenium

You can also purchase products with shielding technology. There are phone cases and laptop shields to blankets and hats. The main point here is to be mindful of where your electronic devices are, how much you use them and where your neighborhood towers are. Then protect yourself accordingly.
