Lineworker Appreciation

(MORRILL, Neb.) — The Village of Morrill took time to once again show recognition to the amazing lineworkers serving our area with this excellent in-action photo.

From Village of Morrill

Thank a lineworker this week.

When storms hit or disaster strikes and the power goes out, they are the first responders, regardless of time or day. They put in countless hours maintaining the power lines that power our lives!

April 18th is Lineworker Appreciation Day, a time to honor the employees who do this vital work. The Village of Morrill has 2 Journeymen Linemen and 1 apprentice who do a dangerous job. And they sometimes do that job under the most extreme conditions – blazing heat, pouring rain, high winds and also frigid winter storms.

Take the time and join us in thanking lineworkers for all they do!

(SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb.) — Electrical lineman crews from multiple parts of the state came together in the recovery process from the 2024 April Blizzard. We have compiled a photo gallery of their work to show our appreciation.
