We can say for certainty now that Azia has been found. She is currently housed in the downtown Denver correctional facility.
With the new information and exposure created, we have other media picking up on the story.
Cowboy State Daily is categorizing Azia’s call to her mother as ‘cryptic’. We certainly agree that more verification is needed before we are comfortable claiming she is safe. She may be ‘found’ (or not) but we have not verified her safety.
Azia has been ‘found’, but is she safe?
New information has surfaced on this missing person’s case. There is a major discrepancy between the mother and the police department as to whether or not her daughter is safe. We’re only sharing this and bringing attention to it, because it’s more about Azia’s safety, than it is her privacy.
We have been involved in literally hundreds of missing persons cases, and we understand that there is a real caution when it comes to verifying digital transmissions.
It’s as simple as someone else having the person’s cell phone and pretending to be that person. That can be done by anyone and can fool anyone, unless you have another form of verification.
Spoofing is another way a person could pretend to be sending a text from a particular number.
Hacking, re-routing, or a number of methods can be utilized to fake a messages true identity.
If the Torrington Police Department is saying that she is safe based on what the mother conveyed to them, we feel they jumped the gun.
For just a little back story on this…
Lisa had asked them to start a missing person’s report prior, and they failed to do so. They only did so when she raised heck on social media. They started off by shaky ground, and it doesn’t sound like things have improved.
We are hoping the Torrington Police Department will communicate the full story to the public soon.

Good News out of the Torrington Wyoming Police Department – AZIA SALDANA has been located and is in touch with family and investigators.
We were notified this afternoon that Azia Saldana has been in contact with her family. She has also communicated with members of our investigating team. As a result of this contact, she is no longer listed as a missing person.
Our investigating team will be working to connect Azia with any law enforcement, or other, resources that she may need in her current location.
We are glad for the relief that this contact has provided Azia’s family and are hopeful that she will be reunited with them in the near future.
Thank you to the many groups and individuals who have helped to create awareness about the concern for Azia, and those who have kept Azia and her family in their prayers.
To preserve Azia’s privacy, and that of her family, no additional information will be released at this time.

Missing Person Investigation
Azia Saldana has been reported missing from our community. She was last seen by her family on August 24th, 2023.
(Note ; According to her mother, she went to play slots at the Torrington Truck Stop on August 26th and that was the last time she was heard from, after stating she would be home by 8pm)
Azia is 33 years old; she is 5’ 2” in height and weighs approximately 140 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes, and has multiple piercings and tattoos.
Azia is known to go missing for long periods of time. She is known to frequent Scottsbluff Nebraska, Brighton Colorado, and Denver Colorado.
