Taylor Museums

Loup County is home to several museums to explore. The famous ‘Villagers’ are scattered throughout the quaint Nebraska town of Taylor. Even those just passing through the county have come across at least one “Villager”.

The Loup County Historical Society was established in 1940. The society was responsible for the establishment of the Taylor museum about 1943. The museum is contained in three small buildings: the Pioneer Memorial Log Cabin, the former Taylor Clarion then public library building, and since 2002, the totally-renovated Sunnyside District #23 one-room schoolhouse. In 2012, the LC Historical Society acquired the old Congregational Church in the same location as the Veterans Memorial.

The Loup County Historical Society contacted us for a unique website featuring the museum and the work the historical society has done. With the help of talented visionaries and fabulous photos, we were able to create a website that reflects the quaint town and deep roots found in their museums.

Check out their website at Taylor Museums.
