Jesus Christ is the seed. We’re made good soil by His perfect works.

They persecuted Jesus. They will persecute us. We should expect it. In fact, Matthew 5:10 says it’s a blessin

How many times do I care more about the world and riches and whatever else than I do my faith? Shouldn’t I be devoting everything in my life to serving him?

If faith wasn’t planted, it wasn’t deep enough to withstand difficult times. When the storm came, it took the faith with it.

God is the one who changes hearts. We can't force them to have an interest in the Gospel; it must come from God.
