It all started in the Garden of Eden when Satan disguised as a serpent, tricked good human beings into thinking they could be God.

Satan deceived those two perfectly created beings into thinking it would be for the greater good. They fell for it, and we are told that we will all suffer for this sin – for all of our time on earth.
