The Mile High Select Sale features a very select group of top notch quarter horses and a few other breeds, but focuses on the working, usable horses that are worth the most valuable.

“Our auction company, Harley D. Troyer Auctioneers, Inc., is owned and operated by Harley and Patricia Troyer of Fort Lupton, Colorado. We have been conducting successful horse auctions since 1989, the most notable the Colorado Draft Horse & Equipment Auction. We are a full time family run auction company that at times employs 35 part-time people. Harley is a second generation auctioneer and a member of the National Auctioneers Association, and also a member and past president of the Colorado Auctioneers Association. Harley was inducted into the Colorado Auctioneers Association Hall Of Fame in 2005.
The Mile High Select Sale was established in March of 2016 held during the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo Denver, Colorado. We treat this auction with the same criteria that has always been with us over the years, and that is honesty, integrity, and credibility.
