The day started out with calls for multiple cars off the road due to the slick road conditions.
No roads were officially closed but several were covered and slick and we have vehicles off the road in several areas. Use Lights, Slow Down, Live.

The photo below was captured on 10th Street in Gering last night. We didn’t hear much traffic on this call, other that they asked for another agency for assistance. That could indicate drugs, or possibly some other reason. Perhaps we will learn the full story like we did with the State Patrol Door Dash traffic.

We say this a lot but it happens a lot. News follows us. Our broadcast manager reported that his neighbor was hauled out by Valley ambulance at approximately 10am for possible dka. Low oxygen sats and incoherent. Likely Diabetic KetoAcidosis. There was alcohol involved as well. Valley transported to RWMC.
Suspicious circumstance Longfellow elementary around noon.

W. 19th St – woman trying to break in through window (not the same woman?)
Disabled male walking along Hwy 26 in the roadway.
Suicidal male? Officer talked to individual, he stated he has no plans of suicide.
Sirens near Longfellow. Medical call, Rescue and Valley responded.
10-44 (non injury motor vehicle accident) turned into a 10-34 (fight) between Scottsbluff and Mitchell on Hwy 26 involving a gray Dodge Ram. NSP was called in response.
