SWATing is a Serious Crime

(HASTINGS, Nebr.) — An investigation began this morning at a Clay County Nebraska school. The Nebraska State Patrol is handling every threat as serious. A subject has been taken into custody in Hastings.

4:26 am – Suspicious male at male at Rebecca Winters apartments knocked on females door and then took off.

7:59 am – Non-injury accident hwy 26 and 21st Ave

9:38 am – One Male in custody

10:22 am – 2 male juveniles on board enroute to ER.

10:30 am – 2 females earlier taken into custody

11:13 am – Disturbance in Melbeta

11:38 am – West Overland med command for a two vehicle accident with air bag deployment.

12:24 pm – Road Rage incident by Goodwill. The person pulled in the back, and the other female followed her and then got out and made some threats to her and then got back in a white Honda Sonata. The license plate did not come back to a Honda.

12:40 pm – Need cops to go to Emerald Court. There is a son of a resident threatening to come and take his mom out of there, but he is not power of attorney.

12:54 pm – 2 juveniles issued citations on a shoplifting complaint

1:01 pm – Rescue needed for a seizure, CR 19 Gering.

1:04 pm – Animal complaint, Mitchell.

1:06 pm – Enroute to Northfield school with DHHS

1:55 pm – Ems needed Beverly Blvd, difficult breathing

5:34 pm – Gering, 40’s female, possible heart attack L Street

5:46 pm – Physical domestic. Char Ave. One party came into the house, started verbal, and then pushed her a couple times. Left in a Ford Excursion, headed down Ave I. Male may be intoxicated. Now stop and hold.

8:27 pm – Carbon monoxide detector going off on S Street.

8:28 pm – 5 year old child getting stiff joints. Child is crying in the background. N street Gering.

9:35 pm – Terry Blvd. Possible physical disturbance. Dispatch can hear yelling and stuff being thrown around.

9:58 – Route 26 Mart, male chasing female. Last seen in front of Allo building headed South on 17th, chasing her on foot. Reporting party in red Honda.

10:06 – Ave E dog complaint

10:17 pm – 911 hang up call around Route 26 Mart area

11:47 pm – Riverstone Bank Motion Detector Alarm in Lobby. Everything secure.

1:03 am – Red Toyota suspected dui trying to hide vehicle, male taken into custody, Male subject known for usually “being really high”, taking to rwmc for clearance before going to county

1:32 am – Male cleared en route county
