Mental Health Awareness
We have a deep understanding of the importance of mental health awareness, especially in today’s upside down world.
We believe many problems in society are caused by the battle between good and evil in our minds.
I suffered from stinking thinking for many, many years. Mine was caused by an addiction to alcohol – and believing that I alone could change the world.
Once I decided to give my ego to God in 1996, things began to change.
I prayed to quit drinking… 9,802 days ago.
I prayed for a job… He gave me a career.
I prayed for family, and He outdid Himself.
I prayed for a hundred clients… He delivered a thousand.
I prayed for a little side business that would help a lot of people in the community… and He gave me this scanner thing!
Never underestimate God’s goodness… or his discipline.
Change your thinking, and everything changes.
We feel our job is to encourage and uplift others, especially those suffering from mental health issues or even homelessness, which I’ve experienced both. For more than 25 years, we have been blessed to have helped multiple friends escape drug addiction and hopelessness. I was even able to serve as VP of the Cirrus House Board about 12 years ago, as well as Director of The Jeremiah House from 2008-2012.

We also understand there is a legitimate need for more services for the homeless in our community. We will gather your input for our research and will include it in our findings. We have studied this for years, obviously being involved in local ministries. We know there is a need and maybe this is the time!

11:14 am – Grass fire in Morrill. smoke spotted on County road 7 south of 26. Location of brush fire changed to west edge of Mitchell.
11 :50 am – Valley 1 Scottsbluff, Female fall.
12:20 pm – Ave H, wife of rp wanting to harm herself. They were there yesterday for the same thing. Taking female to regional west.
2:23 pm – Grass fire north on Cook Oil Rd by the church. Sounds like the fire is out. Mitchell is back in service.
2:34 pm – Medical needed at emerald CT. Male fell down, possible broken are. He is very angry and is throwing stuff.
3:16 pm – Cornfield on fire CR S, Minatare. Second page for Minatare for mutual aid SB rural
3:35 pm – Grass fire on University Dr, Gering called for mutual aid
4:05 pm – Grass fire Hwy 26 and CR 31, Minatare switching trucks and headed to 31
4:32 pm – Med command for 3 car injury accident at Walmart entrance by Taco Johns.
4:42 pm – Request mutual aid. Structures may be involved. SB rural, Gering and Minatare, just off Hwy 26. Mintare just requested mutal aide from Bayard on the County Road S and 32 fire. We have two fires currently burning.
5:00 pm – Suspicious person 19th Ave looking in cars.
5:24 pm – Medical call Ave C in Minatare 16 year old female passed out
5:51 pm – One vehicle injury accident Ave I and Railroad tracks W 20th
6:01 pm – Verbal disturbance at park on East 8th.
6:12 pm – Male having problems breathing. Mitchell.
7:45 pm – Fire on Spring Creek Rd.
8:28 pm – Out with female at O’Reilly stalled vehicle. Same female from walmart incident a few days ago.
8:45 pm – Disturbance at Walmart.
9:41 pm – Possible disturbance at Woodley Park Road. 911 hang up, could hear female yelling in the background. Female called back, said child got a hold of phone and everything is ok. Officers still enroute to check.
