Revelation 4 and 5 provide a glimpse into heaven and the great worship service that will occur around the throne of God as the time comes for the unleashing of the final events in world history leading to the return of Christ. Our church services have three integral parts: praise, prayer and preaching. But in heaven, we won’t need to pray because we will be in communion with the Almighty, nor will we need preaching. That leaves only one great element dominating heavenly worship – praise!
