The Fatherless Epidemic

• Approximately 18,395,000 children in the united states live without a biological father, stepfather or adoptive father present in the home.
• In the United States, 85% of youth in prison come from a fatherless home.
• Children who live in a fatherless home are 279% more likely to deal drugs and illegally carry firearms.
• One out of every three pregnancies in a fatherless home ends in abortion.
• 63% of youth suicide victims are from a fatherless home.

While everyone attempts to solve our societal ills by treating symptoms, the church is being called to fight the issue at its roots. The solution to curing the epidemic is not to outsource it to the government, but to mobilize the church and begin to wage war against the enemy that is decimating our homes.

The Alliance for ending the fatherless epidemic is a collaborative alliance between ministries who seek to end the fatherless epidemic through mentorship!

For the sake of bringing glory to God and for mission accomplishment, like-minded ministries across the United States are unifying under a common front. They are beginning to share resources, ideas, best practices and wisdom–allowing for faster growth and more efficiency. We desire to share ALL that God has entrusted us with!
