Great White Throne (The Book of Signs, Ch. 29)

By Dr. David Jeremiah

Too late. It’s one of the saddest phrases in the English language. It speaks of tragic finality, of irrevocable decisions, of forever missed opportunities. Here we will address the ultimate tragedy that will befall those who do not turn to God before it’s too late.

All authentic Christians will be judged in the first court, which will immediately follow the Rapture. The object of this court is not to determine guilt or to condemn, because every person who passes through it will be a Christian. They are reprieved because grace covers their sins. In this court, believers’ works willb e evaluated to determine how lavishly they should be rewarded.

All unbelievers and pseudo-Christians will be judged in the secound court, the Great White Throne Judgement. They will not be graded on the curve system or evaluated by cultural opinions of right and wrong. They willb e judged by the unbending standard of God’s truth, and this judgement will be forever unalterable.
