A potentially devastating and deadly accident occurred on I-80 in Nebraska on Saturday.

The scanner call came in…

Troopers arrived at the scene to find that it was only a verbal argument and no citations were issued.

However, prior to clearing the scene, a Honda Civic came barreling down the shoulder headed straight for the 3 Trooper vehicles.

The impact pushed the car that was struck into the two other Trooper vehicles, causing damage, but not disabling the other two units.

Thankfully, all Troopers were out of their vehicles and none were injured.

If there is ever a time to remind you to move over and yield to emergency personnel, this would be the best time.

The actions of this driver could have killed multiple people, including themself. Please pray for everyone involved.

Saturday afternoon near Big Springs, Troopers were investigating a reported domestic incident on the shoulder of I-80 when a vehicle struck their parked cruisers.

Troopers immediately assisted the injured driver. Thankfully nobody was in the cruisers when they were hit. There were no other injuries in this incident and the other investigation was resolved peacefully.

Always #MoveOver when you come upon emergency vehicles on the side of the road.
