Jesus did not promise to return when world conditions resembled the days of Abraham, or the days of Daniel, or the days of Paul. He will come suddenly during a period of history resembling the days of Noah.

But how? In what ways will the times parallel the times of Noah?

Jesus explained in Matthew 24:38-39 “For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so alsowill the coming of the Son of Man be.”
