Child Abuse Death

From Platte Valley Media

(OMAHA, Neb) — Authorities are seeking Ravionne Pullum, 24, on charges of negligent child abuse resulting in death after allegedly leaving her 10-month-old son unattended in a bathtub in December 2023.

According to court documents, Pullum left the child alone in the tub with the water running at “chest level” while she retrieved a towel from another room. Upon her return, she found the child unresponsive in the water after approximately five or six minutes.

Pullum initiated CPR on the child, with her mother taking over while she called emergency services. Despite efforts, the child was pronounced dead upon arrival at Children’s Nebraska hospital.

Following an interview, police administered a preliminary breath test on Pullum, registering a blood-alcohol level of 0.07, just below the state’s legal limit for driving while intoxicated.

Omaha Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to Pullum’s arrest.
