From Scottsbluff Police Department
(SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb.) — A 2015 Ford Explorer, driven by Michaela Moreno, 31 of Scottsbluff, was northbound on 1st Ave approaching East 20th Street…
The Ford Explorer then failed to stop at the stop sign and entered the intersection. At this time, the Ford Explorer struck a 2004 Chevrolet Venture, driven by Tonya Janis, 40 of Scottsbluff, which was eastbound on East 20th St.
The Chevrolet Venture then rolled onto its driver’s side.
A third vehicle, 2001 Ford Windstar, was westbound on East 20th St. and was struck by debris from the Ford Explorer. This vehicle was driven by Debbie Subias, 57 of Scottsbluff. Janis and a passenger, Harold Sitting Bear, reported minor injuries and were transported to RWMC.
The following individuals were issued citations;
M. Moreno: No Operators License, Stop Sign Violation
T. Janis: No Valid Registration
H. Sitting Bear: No Insurance
