(YORK, Neb.) — Two semi-tractor trailers ended up on their side early Sunday morning.
At approximately 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec 8th, our deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle accident on Interstate 80.
The semi was traveling westbound when the driver lost control, causing it to turn on its side and cover both lanes of westbound travel. Our deputies worked diligently along with multiple other York County area first responders to clear the roadway.
Second Rollover
After this was cleared, our deputies were once again dispatched to a county road for another semi that lost control and fell on its side.
We would like to thank York County 911, Bradshaw and Henderson fire departments, Moguls and Hitz towing, as well as a few witnesses for helping extract a driver.
Both drivers sustained minor injuries, and neither were transported for further medical attention.
Please remember when driving at night to remain attentive, stay off your phones, ensure all lights on your vehicle are on and working properly, and if you’re feeling tired, pull over and get some rest.
