Explosion in Fremont

July 29 2025 – (FREMONT, Neb.) — An explosion has rocked Fremont, taking down the former Golden Sun Feeds facility. The building is currently owned by Horizon BioFuels, according to a report from News Channel Nebraska.

Troopers, along with multiple fire and police agencies are on scene of a building fire near East Cloverly Road and South Union Street in Fremont.

Law enforcement have a large radius around this area shut down. Please avoid the area.

July 30 2025 – UPDATE: Authorities have found the remains of two female juveniles. This comes several hours after an adult male was found by Nebraska Task Force One and other local agencies.
