Brother’s Fight Broken Up

(NORTH PLATTE, Neb.) — On November 1st, 2025, at 04:54 AM, Lincoln County deputies were dispatched to 2290 Choke Cherry Road, in southwest North Platte, on a reported disturbance.

The disturbance was between two brothers with a weapon being fired inside a residence. Contact was made with the caller outside of the residence while the suspect refused to exit the house. After several hours of talking to deputies through a window, the suspect did surrender without further incident.

30 year old Terrell Cardenas was incarcerated for Terroristic Threats, Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony and Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm.
