Talking to Eric Woldermuth. Is it Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania? Yep. Can’t believe that I can remember.

So, Eric, what is going on? Are you harvesting anything? It’s all spring wheat now. We’ve got some hard white and we’ve got some hard red. We’ve got some soft white that we’re working on right now.

And how are the yields? We’re off whatever average is by probably, I don’t know, 30%, I would say. And we had some of it went down. It’s less than average, I would say, as far as yield.

It’s quite a bit, 70. We have some wheat that was 100 and 130 or something, but it’s just all over the place. It’s a weird year.

It froze here and some stuff like that that affected it. And then a bunch of heat, even though it’s irrigated, that affected it, I think, as well. So, the quality of the wheat, then, is down a little bit? Oh, yeah.

Really, we’re having pretty good quality. Now, in the last week or so, since what we’re in now, it’s like 56 pounds. It’s just one of those years and it just isn’t that great.

We did have a fair amount of wheat that had pretty good quality, but then the yield wasn’t there. So, with the wheat that’s down, do you have to put lifters on your headers? We have macked on flex scrapers and we can rake it up pretty good. But if the ground, it rained and the ground got kind of muddy, so you’d have trouble sliding along the ground.

It’s so mellow. Oh, yeah. And it would push dirt, but we sort of walked away from some of that and letting it dry out.
