Intercede For Yourself And For The World

As you begin to seek God’s heart and align with His Kingdom agenda, He reveals who He has truly created you to be—not powerless, but positioned.

You are called to be an intercessor—one who stands in the gap with boldness, authority, and purpose. This calling is not reserved for a select few on a platform; it is an invitation extended to every believer.

I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one. – Ezekiel 22:30

Ezekiel 22:30 shows us that God searched for someone to stand in the gap on behalf of the land, but found no one. May that not be said of us.

When you choose the peace of God and step into intercession, your perspective begins to shift. Instead of asking, “Why is this happening to me?” you begin to ask, “What can be shifted through prayer?” You move from being overwhelmed by circumstances to engaging them spiritually.

This is where your prayers expand beyond yourself. You begin to lift up your family, your community, your leaders, and the world around you. You take your place in prayer with confidence, knowing that your voice matters before God.

First Timothy 2:1–3 (NIV) urges us,“that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority…” This kind of prayer not only aligns with God’s will, but it also releases His peace.

There is power in choosing prayer over panic. When you shift from focusing on your problems to interceding for others, you step into a higher level of spiritual authority.

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. – Ephesians 6:13

You are more equipped than you realize. So stand firm, and as Ephesians 6:13 reminds us, do all that you can to stand.

I am positioned to intercede, and my prayers release God’s will on the earth.
