Stand Your Ground

There comes a moment in every man’s life where he must decide what kind of man he will become under pressure.

Anybody can stand strong when life is easy.

But pressure reveals character.

Pressure reveals conviction.

Pressure reveals foundation.

The enemy wants men who fold when challenged.

Men who compromise under pressure.

Men who stay silent when they should stand.

Men who abandon convictions to gain comfort, approval, or convenience.

But God is raising up men who will stand their ground.

Men who will pray even when culture mocks prayer.

Men who will protect their marriages.

Men who will lead their families spiritually.

Men who will choose integrity over compromise.

Men who will obey God even when it costs something.

Too many men are exhausted because they’ve been trying to fight spiritual battles with natural strength.

But your strength alone is not enough.

“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. ”
Ephesians 6:11 ESV

You need the armor of God.

You need truth when culture is full of deception.

You need righteousness when temptation surrounds you.

You need faith when fear attacks.

You need the Word when lies bombard your mind.

You need prayer when warfare intensifies.

And notice something powerful about the armor of God… there is no armor for your back.

Why?

Because God never intended His men to run.

Stand your ground.

Even if your voice shakes… stand.

Even if culture pressures you… stand.

Even if nobody else around you stands… stand.

Because when a man stands with God, heaven stands with that man.

You may feel pressure today, but pressure does not mean defeat. Sometimes pressure is proof that hell recognizes there is something powerful inside of you.

Men of conviction are dangerous to darkness.

So refuse compromise.

Refuse passivity.

Refuse spiritual laziness.

Stand your ground.
