I-80 Fatality MM 14
(KIMBALL, Neb.) -- The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office and Nebraska State Patrol will be investigating a fatality on I-80 Mile Marker 14, Eastbound. The person involved in the fatality is not local. More information will be provided as soon as possible.
118 mph DUI on I-80
(LINCOLN, Neb.) -- Trooper Wright was able to get this driver stopped and arrested Friday at about noon after a concerned motorist reported a dangerous driver on I-80 before Lincoln and Omaha.
Semi Afire on I-80
(PINE BLUFFS, Wyo.) -- No April Fools jokes here. On 04/01/2024, the Pine Bluffs PD, along with the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office and Wyoming Highway Patrol are assisting the Laramie County Fire District 5 with a semi trailer fire at MM397 westbound Interstate 80.
I-80 CLOSURE UPDATE
High winds, low visibility and poor travel conditions will close I-80 tonight. Adjust travel plans and find a safe place to stay. NDOT crews will work throughout the night to get roadways open as soon as they can.
