Multi-Drug Arrests

(KIMBALL, Neb.) — A traffic stop yielded a slew of drug charges for two individuals booked into Kimball County Jail.

On May 13, 2024 the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Nebraska State Patrol in a traffic stop which resulted in the arrest of Marisha Issgrigg (35) for Possession of a Controlled Substance – Exceptionally Hazardous, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Meth, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Psilocybin, Possession With Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana less 1oz 1st Offense, Possession/Use Drug Paraphernalia and David Baringer (37) Speeding 11-15 Mph County/State, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Meth, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Psilocybin, Possession of a  Deadly Weapon – Prohibited Person, Possession of a Deadly Weapon While Committing a Felony, Possession  With Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana less 1oz-2nd offense, Possession/Use Drug Paraphernalia, No License on Person. 

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Senior Pranksters Pranked by PD

(KIMBALL, Neb.) — On May 8, 2024, the pranksters got pranked. The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office pranked the Kimball High School’s senior prank. 

They thought it would be funny to park their cars wrong all over the student parking lot. With an “annonymous tip” from the school…we won’t name names (Mrs. Ferguson), we went and pretended to write the seniors’ tickets.

They were really worried for a little while. But all in good fun, probably a senior prank to remember!

Stolen Vehicle Recovered

(KIMBALL, Neb.) — On 05/08/2024 at approximately 1900 hours, Officers of the Kimball Police Department, and Deputies of the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office, responded to the 1500 block of East 5th street, reference a suspicious vehicle.

Officers quickly arrived on scene, and upon further investigation, it was discovered that the suspicious vehicle was reported stolen from Rapid City South Dakota.

Tinkuy Chalampuente (30) was arrested by the Kimball Police Department for being in possession of a stolen vehicle.

Dog Shot; Seeking Info

Update: More people have reached out. The reward is now $3400 for information that directly leads to the arrest of the perpetrator.

(KIMBALL COUNTY, Neb.) — On May 2, 2024, the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a dog who apparently had been beat up and shot on someone’s property.

Anyone with information of who went onto private property and shot this dog on the porch north of Longhorn Road, please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 308-235-3615.

As of right now, there is a $300 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the perpetrator.

High Test DUI Arrest

(KIMBALL, Neb.) — On April 22, 2024, the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Nebraska State Patrol with the arrest of Dennis M. Veliz Bedoya for DUI-High Test (2nd Offense), Interlock Violation, and Wreckless Driving.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Arrested for DUS

(KIMBALL, Neb.) — On April 20, 2024, the Kimball Sheriff’s office conducted a traffic stop resulting in the arrest of Melissa Nau (38) for Driving Under Suspension.

Stabbed, Treated, Arrested

(KIMBALL, Neb.) — On April 18, 2024, the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office responded to Kimball Health Services in reference to a stab wound.

Upon further investigation, it was determined that Michael Hammond Jr was wanted out of Campbell County, Wyoming on numerous charges. It was determined the stab wound had occurred in Campbell County, Wyoming. Kimball County Sheriff’s Office worked with Wyoming DCI.

Hammond was then transported to Regional West Medical Center for treatment. After his release from Regional West Medical Center, Hammond was arrested by Scottsbluff Police Department for the Wyoming warrant that included Attempted First Degree Murder, Strangulation of a Household Member and Assault.

A family member who transported Hammond to Kimball Health Services was Kevin Bolejack, who was arrested by the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office.

Arrested On Warrant

(KIMBALL, Neb.) — On April 18, 2024, the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office made contact with Kevin Bolejack (59), and Bolejack was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

High DUI Second Offense

(KIMBALL, Neb.) — On April 16, 2024 the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop which resulted in the arrest of Michael Madison (54) for Interlock Violation, High test DUI second offense, Obstruction, Driving under suspension and open container.
