My name is Caryle Covalt, and I am the librarian at the Minatare Library. I graduated from Minatare High School. I was an elementary teacher for fifteen years. I worked in the legal field as a legal assistant or a court clerk for twenty-six years. I became the librarian for the Minatare Library in October, 2019.
The Minatare Library has fiction and nonfiction books, large print books, paper backs, young adult and children’s books.
The Minatare Library has back issues of the Minatare Free Press. Issues can also be read using one of our computers on the West Nebraska Family Research and History Center website.
The Library has three computers for use by the public. Our library recently received grant money from the American Rescue Plan. Using these funds, we replaced one of our older computers, as well as purchase a new printer/copier/scanner.
Library staff can notarize documents and assist with the completion of Nebraska State forms. The Minatare Library is open Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on the first Saturday of each month from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
