MISSING CHANCE ENGLEBERT

REWARD INCREASED BY $200,000; Now $220,000 with caveat

Most of the community knows about this case, but for those who do not, Chance went missing on July 6, 2019 and has not been found. This new reward money, reportedly from the Englebert family, carries a caveat that he must be found by his 30th birthday.

Chance went missing on July 6, 2019 after going for a walk to cool down following a family discussion that some have, at times, framed as an argument. Unfortunately, he faced a fierce thunderstorm that night as well as some unexplained trouble en route and has never been found.

Now, the family is reporting that the reward money has increased to a total of $220,00, but Chance must be found by December 2, 2023.

This morning, Dawn Englebert, Chance’s mother posted a heartfelt and memorable birthday wish to her son on her facebook page. She reiterated that they will never give up. Today was his 29th birthday.

The Scottsbluff Star-Herald was the first place we saw this story. Cold Cases has also picked up on the new reward increase and did a story on it as well. Signs of Crime also did a recent podcast on the case, and we did several episodes since Chance went missing some 3+ years ago.

Help Find Chance Englebert put up the photo of the billboard above and included a snapshot of the new reward agreement.
