SCANNER RECAP March 14, 2023

Domestic disputes dominate the night

Remember, scanner traffic is not news until confirmed, and eyewitness accounts are often unreliable.

A friend of ours reported his license plates stolen off of 2 vehicles. We advised him to call it in to the police department. Another good idea would be to get security cameras and Rottweilers. Well, at least the cameras. We recommend AST.

Meanwhile, an eyewitness reported 2 Grand Waggoners ran a red light at 5th Ave and Hwy 26 – white and black, out of state plates.

Possible broken arm.

Verbal dispute on Michael St. in Terrytown, the person out of control has a tazer in her pocket.

Loud music noise complaint on Ponderosa.

Domestic on East 16th, resulting in Doves being contacted… Mother / daughter were arguing over earlier disturbance in Morrill… Daughter walking on Hwy 26 by Walmart, mother stopped on side of the road, officers currently looking for the daughter who got out of the car and began walking down Hwy 26.

Possible disturbance at Essential Fuels.

We also heard numerous traffic stops, animal complaints, and medical calls.

In other news, we heard from Hazel and Martina Camacho. (This is a FOLLOW UP on a Missing / Runaway case we handled.) They are reaching out to bring attention to a serious injustice in a neighboring County. Much more on this as we will have them both on the air with us very soon.

Remember, scanner traffic is not news until confirmed. All parties remain innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
