Minatare Shooting Suspect(s) Sought

We are re-running this story from this Sunday night incident. These criminals need to be found.

Scanner traffic indicated shots fired in Minatare on Ave B Minatare Sunday night around 8:42pm, dark sedan. Police could be heard investigating the ricochet.

Scotts Bluff County Scanner has acquired video of the moment shots were fired.

To our knowledge, despite multiple vehicle stops throughout the night, we can not confirm that this suspect was ever caught.

If anyone has information about this case, or recognizes the vehicle, please contact your local police department.

3 gunshots can be heard in this video from Sunday night in Minatare.

And in a separate incident Tuesday night…

Big Fireworks or Shots Fired?

Did anyone just hear possible gun shots… around 4th Ave?

Just got a call from a woman by Safeway reporting same sound.

Yes, I heard 4 shots. I live over on West Overland, it sounded close by.

There are now multiple calls about gun shots, but it was fireworks.

Ruled out as fireworks. Could just be a coincidence, but this nonsense at night needs to be resolved.

Let’s all be on the lookout for nighttime troublemakers and put these criminals behind bars.

Call 911 if you see any suspicious activity in your neighborhood.


Desk clerk requesting cops at Scottsbluff Inn, one of the rooms has animals in it that are not supposed to be.


2 protection orders served on a familiar name on the Scanner.


Male called in saying he had been punched in the face by another male.


Airlink paged to Torrington hospital for transfer to Medical Center of the Rockies (mcr)


CR G EMS needed. 79 year old female fell. Family also enroute.

Semi with trailer heading to Alliance from Hemingford smelled like alcohol possible drunk driver.


Woman passed out near moomaws corner near Bayard. Hit a mailbox.


Shoplifting at Fresh Foods in Gering. Stole alcohol.
