More Winter Weather Coming

On postponing with impending weather, “The scanner community is made up of many first responders types who generally can not reschedule serving people when emergencies arise. We also understand risk management, and each one will weigh their circumstances. The meeting is not mandatory, and we will be presenting parts of the meeting online as well. The show must go on. If we stopped responding, the community would suffer.” – Brian Hale

The Insiders

“I really like being able to share knowledge, tips and information with each other. I like how with everyone’s input, it brings everything together.” – on being part of the Scanner Insiders

There is a current epidemic of ‘swating’ schools around the country. It’s beginning to be a daily or weekly thing.

“The bright side is.. local law enforcement and school staff gets practice at checking. Just make sure the story doesn’t end like the boy who cried wolf!! Always always check!” – Veteran Listener
