The hyenas had a great first day on exhibit! Baby was the first to come out and check everything out before letting Charlie know it was safe. They spent a lot of time smelling, scent marking, and laying in the shade. We sent by staged groups of people to ease them into having strangers observing them and they adapted to it very well! We thank everyone for their patience while the hyenas make RDC their home. We will be open normal hours tomorrow and the hyenas will have access to their exhibit!
