Keeping Schools Safe

It’s a new school year and we all want to keep our children safe. Each year the school system updates their standard response protocol to help meet that goal.

Many parents are confused by the different names for each status, so we are offering this resource to help everyone understand.

Please follow all directives from official law enforcement sources any time there is an actual or potential event unfolding.

Do not swarm the school when you get these texts from the school system. They are designed to inform, not cause panic. Same thing to remember about Scanner Traffic, right?
