HIGH SPEED CHASE
10:58 pm – Scanner Traffic indicated a High speed chase currently going on with county involved. Officially requested Nebraska State Patrol … in pursuit on Experiment Farm Road, speeds over ninety.
Subject just threw a hoverboard out the window at the patrolman.
Subject is on foot. Shots fired.
Subject hiding in the grass. Setting up perimeter. Blue jacket, blue jeans. Orange shirt underneath jacket.
Lost visual as they pursued up the hill.
Drone just requested…
Perimeter still being setup. Medical on standby for that report of shots fired. This is happening just East of Mitchell. Please stay clear.

Drone on its way… 2nd Drone, a thermal drone is also on its way as a backup.
Original officer repeated that he WAS fired upon by the male subject earlier. Not sure if it was a handgun or a long gun.
Swat has been requested. Basis for request is pursuit for wanted individual for sex crimes who shot at an officer.
Units have area surrounded in all directions.
Suspect spotted, 100 yards. Please pray for everyone’s safety!

SWAT has been authorized and is on their way.
Scanner Traffic indicates police are inching forward toward the suspect with a shield…
No movement. Looks like he shot himself. Cancel SWAT. 😞
12:05 am – Sad ending as suspect appears to have shot himself.
