Thanksgiving Snowfall Timeline from NWS

11 AM 11/23 Update

❄️🍗 Happy Thanksgiving folks! Snow is starting to move its way southward and eastward across Wyoming today. Here’s a look at the latest timeline and accumulation information for a few locations in Southeast Wyoming and western Nebraska.

⌛ Light to moderate snow will fill in from north to south this afternoon and evening, with the heaviest snow expected tonight through early Friday morning. Light snow will gradually taper off Friday but some light snow and flurries may linger into Saturday morning.

💨 Steady east winds may lead to some patchy blowing snow along and east of I-25, but stronger winds are expected further west, including areas along I-80 from Vedauwoo westward. Gusts of 45 to 55 MPH at times will lead to blowing snow and reduced visibility.
