Panhandle Scanner has learned that a 70 year old Blair man is now facing felony charges after a 17-hour standoff.
Some unusual circumstances in this case include the fact that the original call was for a man in distress, possibly to harm himself.
However, the armed man barricaded himself in a duck blind and took several shots at law enforcement until a SWAT vehicle finally tipped over his shelter, resulting in his surrender and subsequent arrest.
The man had also shot down an NSP drone prior to the call for the SWAT.
