Feeling Foggy?

We noticed several questions about the fog that was in the area, not only in the morning, but all day. We did some research and found some information from one of our favorite storm chasers.

Here’s what Zachary Hall posted about the foggy phenomenon.

See the satellite image? It has been an exceptionally cloudy day for a large part of the lower 48.

It is possible that you could’ve driven from the northern border to the southern border and never observe sunlight.

I saw this on the Tornado Titans – Weather and Storm Chasing Facebook page.

Very interesting.

It’s curious how it almost looks clear in our area in the panhandle. His point was, however, that there was a long standing cloud cover over the entire U.S.
