Several Taken to Hospital

A Tuesday morning gas leak at the Gering McDonalds sent 3 patients to the hospital, according to local Scanner traffic.

Patients were reportedly stable but experiencing dizziness, headaches, vomiting, and typical symptoms indicative of a gas leak.

Gering Fire cleared the scene quickly and initially determined the cause to be some sort of exposure to natural gas. The building was negative for carbon monoxide.

We will have more information as it becomes available.

Please pray for a full recovery for all affected, and for safe solution of the issue.
