🚨 BREAKING NEWS: Successful Apprehension of Vehicle Theft Suspect 🚨
(ALLIANCE, Neb.) — Early this morning, the Alliance Police Department responded swiftly to a report of a stolen vehicle in our community. Thanks to the diligent efforts of Officer Gomez and the collaborative support from the Nebraska State Patrol and Box Butte County Sheriff’s Office, we are pleased to announce that the suspect has been apprehended without incident.
Here’s a summary of the events:
At 01:14 hours, we received a report of a stolen 2013 GMC Acadia, white in color, heading southbound on Box Butte Avenue from 25th Street.
Officer Gomez located the vehicle at approximately 01:16 hours and initiated pursuit.
The pursuit, which began near the Lakefield Apartments, continued through town until reaching 7th and Black Hills.
Additional support from the Nebraska State Patrol and Box Butte County Sheriff’s Office was instrumental in the apprehension.
The suspect, a juvenile whose identity remains undisclosed, was apprehended near the alleyway of 7th and Black Hills without further incident.
