March 22; PHS Closed

(SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb.) — In a late Thursday announcement, Panhandle Humane Society of Scottsbluff shared some new information about the case.

** UPDATE on Sims Legal Case **

We have what we think is some pretty great news! Sadonya and Jaydee Sims agreed to waive the probable cause and disposition hearing for tomorrow and relinquish their dogs to PHS. The regular hearing will take place in April.

PHS will still be closed tomorrow. The dogs need to be assessed by our vet before adoption and our team will be very busy as we make preparations to find them new homes. Some will be available next week so watch our website! We ask that you don’t call or come in and ask to see them.

We do still have other dogs available for adoption, and anyone interested can see them. Dog adoption will be closed to the public through the weekend, and we will bring out any available dog for you to meet!

Thank you again for all of your support through this!
