Suspect Arrested in Norfolk Bomb Threat 💣

In Norfolk, Nebraska, a suspect was apprehended after a bomb threat was made against a school.
The Norfolk Police Division received notice at 8:07 a.m. on Friday regarding a message left on the school’s answering machine, indicating the presence of an explosive device.
Despite an extensive search conducted by resource officers, no explosive was found, confirming the call as a false alarm.
The caller’s identity was traced, leading to the arrest of 37-year-old Colby Napier at his residence by 8:42 a.m., on charges of making bomb threats.
Napier is currently detained in Norfolk City Jail pending transfer to Madison County Jail.
Norfolk Public Schools officials, aware of the threat, underscored their commitment to safety, stating, “All threats are treated seriously, and safety remains our top priority. We assure the community that students and staff were not in danger.”
