(OMAHA, Neb.) — Omaha Police are investigating an officer-involved incident that injured two people Wednesday morning. Officers responded to an apartment at 305 South 16th Street at 11:18 a.m. to attempt to locate a woman who was trespassing on the property.

As officers entered the building, they heard screaming and dogs barking on the second floor. Omaha Fire Department medics took the bystanders, a 15-year-old girl and a 37-year-old woman, to the Nebraska Medical Center. Their injuries are not life-threatening.

The investigation is ongoing. The incident was captured on the officer’s body-worn cameras. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
