I’m a CU Buffalo fan and season ticket holder. I want to share my experience at the Nebraska game in Nebraska.
First of all, it was the best experience I have ever had at an opposing teams stadium.
Every Husker fan wanted to make sure that the CU fans were having a good experience.
Not one Husker fan was rude or sarcastic to our section, or around the campus. I’m just telling you every college could learn from the Husker fans, of respect and a fun rivalry with so much fun.

Ok, now let’s talk about the way Husker fans tailgate. I have never seen or experienced anything like this either. Not just the Husker group we were with, but everywhere. The food, the drinks, anything you wanted was there, and the Husker fans just sharing it with you. So much fun.
Now let’s talk about the game itself. The group who plans the stadium experience really know what they are doing. Again, the atmosphere was electric. The picture below was the drone show between the 3rd and 4th quarter honoring their 1994 national championship team.

I must say it’s time to challenge every college to try and replicate this for every game.
Husker nation, you were amazing.
THANK YOU.
Respectfully
CU Fan

Thank you for such a nice review. We are so glad you enjoyed your experience in Lincoln. Please come back again.
Thank you! We always strive to make opposing teams feel welcome.
Thanks for your comments! I’m a Husker Fan who lives in Berthoud, CO, and have been in Colorado since 1984! I love living in Colorado, and have had many positive experiences here to with everyone knowing I’m a Husker Fan, but occassionally you get the idiots who are not during a game at CU Stadium. I haven’t been to a Husker game since the 80’s so wasn’t sure how they behaved. Can’t wait until they start to schedule CU & NU again!
That’s exactly what I try to do everytime we have visitors. I welco.e them they are spending there hard earned money in our state. They are fans and parents just like us. We don’t have to stoop to anyone else’s level they should strive to reach ours. Husker pride and Nebraska Nice right!! I clap for the opposing team as the enter our stadium. I don’t like the boos. Let our play on the feild deter.ine things I cheer hard for the scarlet and cream and I love my Huskers no matter what. So let us be the standard others want to be like not the other way around. You never know how a smile or a thank you will give someone else the uplift they may need. God is good always! Go Big Red!
Glad to hear it still resembles the sportsmanship that has long been a hallmark of Nebraska athletics.
