(OSHKOSH, Neb.) – A Garden County Sheriff’s Deputy has been arrested for sexual assault and child abuse charges.
How it Started…
On July 4, an investigator with the Nebraska Attorney General’s office was advised a minor girl was sexually assaulted by Bruce Neal and Nebraska State Patrol began investigating the case.
According to one Scanner Insiders, Neal was also serving in a youth group at a local church but she left the church before this incident. Another insider noted that Neal made him very uncomfortable in his business establishment.
Garden County deputies also received allegations of probable grooming in which Neal had sent inappropriate comments to another teenager.
NSP investigators charged Bruce Neal, 39, of Oshkosh, with one count of first-degree sexual assault and two counts of child abuse. Neal is being held in Cheyenne County Jail while the investigation continues.
Mr. Neal is innocent until proven guilty.
