The 2024 pheasant season opener is this Saturday, Oct. 26!
This season is looking to be an exciting one. With field reports and surveys showing that pheasant counts are up 19% since last year, hunters can be optimistic about hunting opportunities this fall.
Recent dry conditions have triggered emergency haying and grazing of CRP lands this summer and fall, so preseason scouting is recommended. Be sure to act responsibly and do your part to prevent wildfires.
