First Snow of the Season

(NORTH PLATTE, Neb.) — Say it ain’t snow? A disturbance moving into Colorado and western Nebraska will bring cooler temperatures and the potential for snow for the middle of the week. A transition to at least a rain/snow mix will be possible each day Wednesday and Thursday especially during the morning hours.

Cheyenne Weather Service reports that Tuesday will be windy and cold with scattered snow showers west of a Laramie to Chadron line. High temperatures will be in the 40s to lower 50s east of I-25, with lower to mid 30s west of I-25. It will be breezy and cold for Wednesday with highs in the 30s to lower 40s east of I-25, and 25 to 30 west of I-25. Thursday will be sunny and cold with highs from 37 to 49 east of I-25, and 30 to 38 west of I-25. It will be partly cloudy and a little warmer for Friday with highs from 43 to 54 east of I-25, and 35 to 45 west of I-25.
