Late Night Stabbing Incident

(SCOTTS BLUFF COUNTY, Neb.) — Scanner traffic indicated a stabbing incident reported near the Cobblestone Hotel in Gering late Thursday evening.

Scanner traffic details were sketchy as both Gering and Scottsbluff were mentioned, including reference to the Cobblestone Hotel. It would be a lot clearer if the Comm Center had not chosen to encrypt local traffic. This definitely keeps people in the dark.

This press release should help clear things up.

Scanner traffic indicated a medical call in which the police were involved. One male patient with lacerations to his head and other injuries is being transported to RWMC. Not sure if they have the suspect in custody. Gering is asking for assistance from Scottsbluff, so stand by for clarification there.

We will continue to update this article as new information comes in. We are expecting a press release from the police department on this, but that is not guaranteed. Stay tuned!
