But here’s the Rest of the Story . . .
The murder of 36-year-old Jamie Hagan of Seward happened not long after Jamie took steps to protect herself and her daughters.

She went to the police and successfully secured a restraining order after she accused her ex boyfriend, 54-year-old Casey Kindt, of assaulting and threatening her. He faced charges for terroristic threats, third-degree domestic assault resulting in injuries and child abuse no injury.
Court records show he posted bond, but was returned to jail shortly after bonding out for contacting Jamie. He bonded out a second time – on Friday (Judge C. Jo Petersen increased it to $75,000), and then killed Jamie on Saturday night.
