(GILLETTE, Wyo.) — Saturday March 8, 2025, Kamren Crousore was taken into custody without incident by Campbell County Sheriff’s Office. He was arrested for attempted second-degree murder, aggravated assault and reckless endangering with a firearm.
According to one report Crousore, also known by his rapper name, “PURP IX,” has a long criminal history and is associated with the gang “IX.”
SHOOTING INVESTIGATION – SUSPECT SOUGHT
On March 4, 2025, at approximately 2:20 PM the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a shooting on Echeta Road.
Through the investigation, Law Enforcement learned Kamren Crousore, 18-year-old male, shot a 19-year-old male. The 19 year old male was transported to the hospital. Crousore fled the scene prior to law enforcement’s arrival.
Crousore is believed to be in possession of a 9mm Handgun and other unknown firearms. He is to be considered armed and dangerous and has connections to Colorado, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Wyoming, specifically Casper, Gillette, Lusk, and Torrington.
Crousore is listed as 5’10” tall and 120 lbs. Crousore has brown hair and blue eyes. Crousore has “IX” tattooed on the right side of his face in front of his ear. Crousore has “999” and a rose tattooed on the left side of his neck. Crousore has “Sinner” on his right forearm.
