MISSING: Leah Noyd

UPDATE: Leah Noyd was located just before 5 p.m. today, Friday April 25.

Nance County Sheriff Ben Bakewell announced Friday night that Noyd was found by a turkey hunter in rural Nance County at 4:45 p.m. She was hungry, dehydrated and suffering from exposure.

The Nance County Sheriff’s Department is working with the Nebraska State Patrol and the FBI on an ongoing criminal investigation.

(FULLERTON, Neb.) — The vehicle of Leah Noyd, 21, was found in rural Nance County. Authorities believe she left the vehicle on foot and they are currently searching the area.

Update: Leah has been entered as a missing persons out of Nance County. She is believed to be in Nance or possibly Boone County. Multiple law enforcement agencies are still trying to locate her. Please call 911 if you see Leah or know where she is.

Leah is believed to be in a vehicle around the Albion area. This is still an on going, rapidly developing situation. Multiple law enforcement agencies are continuing to locate Leah.

The Nance County Sheriff’s Office, Belgrade Fire, Fullerton Fire & Rescue, Genoa Fire & Rescue, and the Nebraska State Patrol are currently searching rural Nance County between Fullerton and Genoa for 21-year-old Leah Noyd. Leah has left her vehicle and is believed to be on foot. It is believed that Leah is traveling east bound towards Genoa. Leah may be having medical complications. Leah is believed to be in a serious, life-threatening situation. If you see Leah, please call 911 immediately. If you know where Leah is, please call 911.
