July 1, 2025 – A four year old boy from Scottsbluff was injured in a serious mowing accident on Sunday, June 29, 2025 in Mitchell.

The aunt has set up a way to help the family with immediate expenses.

Cash donations will be received at Unique A Flair salon at 1809 Avenue A in Scottsbluff. Also, Valley Auto Locaters is holding a raffle for a fireworks package to help raise money for the family.

We know this family, and this is a legitimate need. If you can help Wyatt and Kellie Nielsen, it would be greatly appreciated. You can find the mother’s venmo below.

If you cannot help with expenses, your prayers are certainly welcome.

Thank you.

Original post from Jake’s Aunt:

Many of you may have already heard that my nephew was involved in a serious lawn mower accident on Sunday, June 29, 2025. He was life-flighted to Denver, where—thankfully—surgeons were able to reattach his foot. The doctors are hopeful for a full recovery, but the next 48 hours are critical.

Wyatt and Kellie are by his side, doing everything they can to support him. As they face the challenges of travel, hotel stays, and daily expenses, we’d love to ease a bit of that burden so they can focus on Jake’s healing.

If you’re able, please consider making a donation to help with their immediate needs. If giving financially isn’t possible right now, your prayers and positive thoughts for Jake, his family, and the medical team are deeply appreciated.

Venmo: @kellie-nielsen22

Thank you for lifting this sweet family up in whatever way you can. ❤️
